Hello everybody and welcome back.
Today I'm here for a little chat with you just to explain where I have been and what I have been up to and why I decided to take a break from blogging.

Real Talk

I have had blogs in the past and posted for a few months then got bored of them because it was too time consuming, I couldn't find the time to sit and write, blah, blah, blah... excuses and more just because I couldn't be bothered.
When I started this blog back in November, I promised myself that this time would be different and I have to admit to myself, I really was doing really well until it began feeling like a chore.
I began really struggling to create content that I was happy with and had endless drafts saved but when I began reading through them properly, I ended up deleting them simply because I don't ever want to post something that I am not 100% happy with. It wouldn't be fair on myself and it wouldn't be fair on you as a reader so I decided to take a break, collect my brain a little bit and decide what I truly want this blog to be about.
What I want my brand to be.

Since myself and my partner are saving up to buy our first family home, money has been very tight so I haven't really been buying any new products to share reviews, I have just been sticking to my old reliable brands... Yes how boring!!
Tying in with the saving for a house; I have been extremely busy at work and taking any overtime I can fit into my days which means I have been home a lot less and when I am at home, I just want to spend time with Leland. He is starting school full time in September so this next month or so is going to be precious to me.

With all this being said, I have been able to take some time and be with my family and friends. We have had some lovely days/evenings out over the past few months while I have been away.

In May, my beautiful friend from school got married and myself and two of my bestest friends attended the reception  <3



Also in May, we took a trip to York for tea and cocktails to celebrate my best friends birthday.



We have had plenty of park trips with Leland.







Leland also turned 4 <3



which lead to a birthday money spending spree...



We also attended Howden show earlier this month.

All in all, I have enjoyed my little break but as from August... I will be back to a regular posting schedule. I haven't quite worked it out yet, but I am working on the finishing touches and already have some post scheduled for early august!
