Mummy Dates Project 2017 #2
23:06
Hello everybody and welcome back!
I hope you have all been well.
Yesterday myself and Leland found ourselves on yet another Mummy Date which turned out to be a double whammy as my mummy came along too.
We both had the day off so we decided to take a trip into Hull for a spot of lunch.
We gave Leland the choice of where to go, and of course, he (as any three year old would) opted for Pizza Express.
Leland was so excited when we got seated and was given a special hat to wear.
Although we had almost an hours wait for food, he behaved so well. The lovely, yet very busy waitress had given him some colouring pencils and a puzzle book with stickers to keep him occupied.
We ate our delicious pizzas which were well worth the wait and Leland tucked into his ice-cream afterwards, still donning his hat which he had covered in stickers by this time.
We had a lovely lunch date and even though we had to wait a long time, the serving staff were amazing, they could not apologise enough. They remained polite and professional even though they were absolutely run off their feet.
Making memories like this with my mum and Leland are so important to me and I absolutely adore seeing them spending time together, he dotes on her and her on him.
Finally, no trip into Hull is complete without a ride on a mechanical Thomas the Tank Engine.
I really hope you enjoy this little entry =)
We have lots of things planned for February including one extra special day during the half term which I am so excited for.
I'll have another Mummy Dates Project post coming very soon.
As always, take care and speak soon
