Hello Everybody and welcome to my very first Mummy Dates Project Post.

As I've said in my previous post, I will be dedicating one post a week to this project.

Come along and follow myself and Leland on our adventures this year =)

Today for our Mummy Date, we took a trip into Hull as Leland has outgrown his car seat in his dads car so I needed to buy him a new one.

We set off mid-morning and arrived at our first stop which was McDonald's, around lunch time. Leland sat very nicely while munching on his happy meal and told me all about his purple Furby toy which he had received with his meal.

Next, we had a pit stop at Costa Coffee and to my delight, I received what will possibly be my last Christmas cup this season =(

With full tummies and fuelled by a mocha we were ready for shopping!

While shopping Leland picked out some new trousers and a Pikachu t-shirt for himself and I decided to treat myself to a new t-shirt and candle.

We picked up his new 'big boy booster seat' and as a treat for being so well behaved with minimal breakdowns about all the walking, he'd earned himself a Thomas and friends Mini (he was ecstatic as it was Spencer) and a trip to Krispy Kreme where he chose a Strawberries and Kreme doughnut and a juice before we headed back to the car.

All in all both of us really enjoyed our day. Leland was so well behaved and all the walking about we did didn't seem to bother him as much as it usually would. 

When we arrived home we curled up in front of the TV with a cup of hot chocolate each and watched Thomas and The Great Race on DVD. 

A perfect ending to our Mummy Date <3
